COVID-19 Paid Sick Leave
Workers can take 3 days of paid sick leave between May 20, 2021 and December 31, 2021 if they need to stay home due to COVID-19. If your workplace does not have an existing sick leave program, the Province will reimburse you up to $200 per day.

COVID-19 Paid Vaccination Leave
Individuals can take up to 3 hours of paid leave to be vaccinated against COVID-19. If necessary, you can take additional paid leave for a second dose. Employees are entitled to this leave no matter how long they have been employed.

FEDERAL
Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB)
The CRB provides $500 per week for up to 26 weeks to workers who are self-employed or are not eligible for EI and who still require income support. This benefit supports people who have stopped working due to COVID-10 or whose income has dropped by 50% or more.

Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit (CRCB)
The CRCB provides $500 per week for up to 26 weeks per household for eligible people unable to work because they must care for a child under 12 years old or other family member requiring supervised care, who is unable to attend their school or regular care facility due to COVID-19.

Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit (CRSB)
The CRSB provides $500 per week for up to two weeks, for workers who are sick or must self-isolate for reasons related to COVID-19, or have underlying conditions that would make them more susceptible to COVID-19.
